As a hardworking producer at Rhythm Link, she tends to be a really busy perfectionist. She seems very serious and stoic, but she worries easily and cares for her friends greatly. She has talents in both art and music, but decided to go through Yumenosaki’s Producer Course.

Mackenzie serves as a producer at Rhythm Link, primarily managing AKATSUKI.

Appearance 

Mackenzie is a short girl with an average build. Her hair is short and brown, with longer front tails on either side. The back is similar to a bob. Her eyes are also a similar shade of brown. She wears round, square shaped glasses that are pink on the top with gold frames.

For work, Mackenzie dresses professionally, yet comfortably. In the summer and spring, she wears a short-sleeve, button-up dark red shirt with a long black skirt. In the fall and winter, she wears a black turtleneck top, black straight-leg slacks, and a dark red cardigan.

Personality

At first, she seems to be very serious and stoic when interacting with others. In reality, she is reserved but cares greatly for her friends. In particular, she tends to be wary around overly-serious people at first, wanting to please them. However, after she warms up to them, she will be a great friend; this is what her relationship with AKATSUKI was like.

Mackenzie is an adept worker, great at completing any task. Even if it is new or difficult, she will do her best to tackle the job at hand. Despite this, she does not handle last-minute change well, getting nervous when things do not go according to plan. In these situations, Keito usually has to help her calm down and think rationally.

Because of her hard work ethic, she sometimes has a difficult time stopping a task or taking care of herself before it is done. AKATSUKI does their best to ensure she does not work herself too hard for their sake. She does a great job of caring for others, going out of her way to make sure they have what they need to be successful, or are resting when needed.

To those around her, she comes off as serious but shy, often avoiding talking to people unless necessary. Even around people she is comfortable with, she tends to be quiet and not speak a large amount. She does not always do the best around blunt people, feeling like she has done something to upset them; this proved particularly difficult in working with Keito initially, but the two are now very close.  

Trivia

• Mackenzie loves small animals, particularly enjoying cats and fish. She has a pet fish.
• Initially, she was scared of Keito and his blunt, serious attitude. Souma and Kuro were, however, very nice and understanding. Through working with them, Keito loosened up on her a bit. Her and Keito are very similar, and now get along very well.
• Mackenzie is a classically trained flutist, and is very good. However, she decided to pursue working with AKATSUKI due to fear of not making it as a musician. She does still perform occasionally.
• She is a huge fan of Mizuhanome’s works, and gets to read them before anyone else.
• Her and Keito will sometimes draw together, even if they’re working on very different things.
